My speed in the arrivals was not very good and to laugh at myself, I can say that my regularity was amazing, if we got five runners to the sprint, it was 5th, if there were three of us in 3rd and so on. Therefore, all my positions are due to races where the hardness of their course was evident, either in the middle or high mountains or against the clock.

MAIN AWARDS

– (1988) December 14, Pedro Delgado received the first Gold Medal for Sports Merit from the Junta de Castilla y León from José María Aznar
– (2001) Royal Decree 1365/2001 of November 30, which grants him admission to the Royal Order of Sports Merit, with the category of the Grand Cross, the highest sporting distinction in Spain.
– (2003) Awarded by the Junta de Castilla y León in the Sport category for his sporting achievements and human profile.
