Her life has been and continues to be closely linked to the media (television, radio and press), which allows her to remain a very popular face, despite having hung up her bike many years ago.

During the 1994 Volta Catalunya (at that time it was running at the beginning of September), Pedro met one day in the elevator with a manager from RTVE, who asked him what he planned to do in the future. Perico replied that he did not know, so Luis Miguel de Dios (RTVE’s sports director), the person who was having this conversation, encouraged him to comment live on the cycling races. After thinking about it for a couple of weeks, they reached an agreement and from 1995 he is a commentator on Spanish public television.

On the tribune of the 1998 Tour de France with the journalist Pedro Gonzalez, with whom he began his career on TVE in 1995.. Unfortunately Pedro González left us on New Year’s Eve in 1999, Carlos de Andrés took over from him, who broadcast the races from his motorcycle.

Years before, in 1988 he had already started his first steps as a comentator, in this case on the radio, with chronicles for Cadena Ser and Jose Ramón de La Morena program.

Since the summer of 2016 he has collaborated with the spanish national radio Onda Cero, in the El Transistor program conducted with José Ramón de La Morena.
